Doctor Corey Bickler Talks about General Dentistry
From the first appointment here, you’re brought in and we do about an hour and a half appointment where you’re gonna sit down with a hygienist. They’re gonna clean your teeth. They’re gonna kind of figure out where you’re at. You know, do we see you as being in great health or somewhere other than that? We’re gonna ask you questions about, you know, what do you do at home? What does your routine look like?
Over time, we’re gonna build in what our ideal routine is for you and explain why we do certain things versus others. I think we’ve got a pretty good idea of what we think an ideal routine is and ultimately we want our patients to be following that in some way because it really helps alleviate issues that we see down the road.
That routine is derived in hygiene and from your first appointment to your second appointment where you might do another cleaning or you might have some type of restorative procedure, that will always be a consistent thing for patients to expect. In time, I think we’ve learned from patients that that really is a good way of doing things.
